Your Sunday Reset, But Make It Realistic

Your Sunday Reset, But Make It Realistic

For girls who want their life together but would also quite like to lie down.

Somewhere along the way, Sunday became another day we're supposed to optimize.

Wake up early. Pilates. Grocery shop. Meal prep. Deep clean. Journal. Wash your hair. Do your skincare. Plan your goals. Drink something green.

By Sunday night, you need another weekend.

So here's the Sunday reset we're actually willing to do.

Give Yourself 15 Minutes

Not two hours.

Set a timer and fix whatever is currently making your space feel chaotic.

Clothes back where they belong.

Cups back to the kitchen.

Clear the chair.

You know the chair.

If you're feeling ambitious, change your sheets.

When the timer ends, you're done.

Move But It Doesn't Have to Be a Workout

If you booked Pilates, go.

If you want to walk somewhere for coffee, also valid.

If all you can manage is ten minutes of stretching on your bedroom floor, we're counting it.

The goal isn't to burn off whatever you ate this weekend.

It's just to make your body feel a little better.

Take the Everything Shower

This one can stay.

Wash the hair. Exfoliate. Shave whatever you feel like shaving. Use the body lotion you've apparently been saving for a special occasion.

Put on something ridiculously comfortable afterwards.

Immediate improvement.

Make Monday 20% Less Annoying

You don't need to plan your entire life.

Just open your calendar and look at Monday.

What's your first commitment?

What are you wearing?

Is there something you can eat in the morning?

Do you know where your keys are?

Done.

Future you will appreciate the bare minimum preparation.

Then Stop Being Productive

This part matters.

Do something that achieves absolutely nothing.

Watch something terrible. Read. Get coffee. Call your friend. Scroll for a while without turning it into "content research."

You don't have to earn your Sunday evening by completing a checklist.

The Actual Sunday Reset

  • 15-minute room reset

  • Move a little

  • Everything shower

  • Check Monday's calendar

  • Pick tomorrow's outfit

  • Figure out breakfast

  • Charge your phone

  • Do something completely unproductive

That's enough.

You don't need to become a new person every Sunday.

Just make Monday slightly easier.
